Plus 2 common exams commences in TN: over 7.72 lakh students take up- 1-Mar-2024

Chennai: The Plus 2 common examination for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry commenced today, 1st March 2024.

With 3,302 examination centers established throughout the state, a total of 7.72 lakh students from 7,534 schools are appearing for the examinations. 

To oversee the entire exam process, 43,200 teachers have been designated as superintendents.

In an effort to ensure the integrity of the examinations, measures such as the deployment of 3,200 flying squads and 1,135 fixed surveillance squads have been implemented to deter infringements and plagiarism. 

A high-level committee, comprising 39 officials including directors of school education and associate directors, has been formed to oversee the examination process and prevent any irregularities.

Furthermore, a 24-hour monitoring and control center has been established at the Directorate of Government Examinations in Chennai to facilitate swift responses to any arising issues.
