Chulalongkorn University in Thailand extends a unique opportunity for foreign students to pursue studies in Economics through its Department of Economics, with available scholarships.
Significance: As Thailand's pioneering institution of higher education, Chulalongkorn University boasts a diverse student body, with 24,963 enrolled in undergraduate programs and 10,776 pursuing master's degrees.
Notably, within the field of economics, 1,750 undergraduate students and 198 master's candidates are currently enrolled. The Department of Economics is staffed with 52 esteemed faculty members, 49 of whom hold Ph.D. qualifications.
Program: Bachelor of Arts Program in Economics - EBA
Scholarship Offerings: Five full scholarships are exclusively allocated for international students.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must have successfully completed their 12th-grade education and obtained a qualifying score in any recognized English language proficiency test, such as IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, or ACT. Additionally, proficiency in mathematics, as demonstrated through an aptitude test, is a prerequisite.
Application Procedure: Interested candidates should submit their applications through the official website http://www.eba.econ.chula.ac.th/, accompanied by the requisite documents.
Selection Process: Applications will undergo a rigorous screening process to determine eligibility, followed by online interviews scheduled from May 21st to May 24th. Attendance at the interview is mandatory; failure to attend will result in disqualification. The names of shortlisted candidates from the initial screening will be published on May 30th.
Selected candidates must accept the university's letter of acceptance and submit the confirmation fee. Subsequently, the final list of scholarship recipients will be announced.
