Scholarships, fellowships, etc. are available for a variety of purposes to cater to the different needs of scholars, students and other aspirants. Some major categories of purposes for which scholarships, fellowships, grants or financial assistance is available are as follows:

(a)  Graduate/Post-graduate studies;

(b)  Ph D/M.Phil. degree;

(c)  Post-doctoral research;

(d)  Advanced/Specialized research or training;

(e)  Travel grant;

(f)    Professional/career development;
