In the recent days, English dominance is found across in almost every sphere of life and profession across the world, pressing the need to learn English. All aspiring English learning are only enthusiastic to get fluent with English, but do not possess the same enthusiasm in giving out an earnest try.
Learning anything requires consistent action and dedication. Though all the learning material and tips to learn a new language is available at hand, but if consistency in practice or action is lacking then nothing significant could be done. In order to get proficient with English, it is important to make few necessary changes in the entire routine of your life.

Stick around with friends who talk in English:
It is important to be a part of an English-speaking group, where English could be learnt through hearing and pondering over various ways of sentence construction.
No other means is better than just speaking out in English to improve oral communication skill in English. In the beginning, it may look naive, but it is important to cross over such an uncomfortable phase.
Every professional, dexterous in English would have got over this awkward phase, but since it would have happened at early childhood, there would have been less chance for self-doubt as all the peers were too in the same boat. But, learning to speak at much mature age requires lot of determination as you become more aware of the people around.
It is imperative to have friends, who are quite matured to encourage you despite making childish mistakes.
Listen and view news channel in English: So far, if you dont have the habit of watching English news or Movies, its time to start, as it will help you groom accent.
Initially, certainly it would be difficult to follow the accent. So, watch movies or news that carries subtitling.
Talk to any customer care service: It might sound eccentric, but it is one effective way to improve your communication skill, as it will enhance confidence level to greater extent.
Every day learn 5 new words and use: Tt is highly important to keep learning at least 5 new words with their meaning, and you should also try to learn the synonyms and antonyms for each of them. Wherever possible use the learnt words in sentences and if possible, try to include them while interacting with others.
If you know 100 English words, your English will revolve around these 100 words only. But, if you keep improving your vocabulary bank, so also your standard of English will get better.
Read Books: If you want improve oral communication skills in English, it is very important to read books. But, what book to read?
Every beginner must read books meant for kids that usually have a lot of short sentences written in simple English. As these books use very simple words it would help you understand the meaning of word without taking help from a dictionary.
Reading over and again would re-emphasize basic structure construction that gets into mind of the human system without even realizing.
But, once after getting over the beginner phase, it is important to read a book of the next standards. Neither too hard nor too easy to read.
It is good to read newspaper, as it will help get acquainted with English, but sentences in the newspaper are constructed in a much complex manner. So, people with fair amount of understanding get benefited much than the beginners.
Start writing: Irrespective of the level, it is important to start writing. Writing gives the extra edge to think for a long time than speaking, so learning the art appropriate construction is more possible than otherwise. Hence, anyone who starts practicing this skill can take the liberty of pondering over and writing down a correct sentence and subsequently use such a sentence over a conversation will help build correct sentences quickly and efficiently.
These days, youngsters, who use more short texts to message, must be reminded to avoid use of any shortcuts while writing.
