Shanaz Fathima - (Plus two 3rd rank in Chennai district) - 2010-
In the recent plus two examination results, Shanaz Fathima, a student of CSI.Bains Higher Secondary School, Kilpuak obtained third rank at the Chennai District level securing 1,176 out 1,200.
Her marks are 192 in Tamil, 190- English, 196-Economics, 199-Commerce, 200- Accountancy and 199 in Business Mathematics. Her parents, Wahidha Begum and Hyder Ali, both are doctors. While speaking Shanaz Fathima told, "If we pray and work hard, definitely we can excel. Many have an idea that commerce is a mean subject. It is basically wrong. I was determined to select commerce group and get first rank in the school.
I am delighted to have obtained third rank in the Chennai District. I have not gone to tuition. I studied as per teachers' guidance. After completing B.Com, my aim is to become Chartered Accountant" she said.
