The Coal Technologists conduct researches not only to identify the places where charcoal is got but also to assess the quality of charcoal. They also envisage the profitability of charcoal after hauling out. They do researches about its utility and viability in the production of electricity and petroleum products respectively.
They follow the procedure of physics and chemistry for their tests and their tests are acknowledged at the international level. Coal technologists are employed in various divisions of coal establishments like classification and examination of coal according to its quality and sales.
