UPMCAT - Uttar Pradesh Management Common Aptitude Test-

The Uttar Pradesh Management Common Aptitude Test UPMCAT is held for admission to the two-year full time MBA / MMS / MIBM / MNEM / MTM / MCM / MFC management courses offered at university departments, government and private institutions of Uttar Pradesh. The UPMCAT test is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University at 21 centres. Generally, this test is held in third week of May every year. The information brochure form was made available at the Office of the Controller of UPMCAT and at the other locations as specified by the UPMCAT office and also on the website.

Eligibility:

Only Indian National can take this examination. A three-year Bachelor�s degree in any discipline form a recognized university with 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC) is requires. Candidates who had appeared for the Bachelor�s degree examination could also take this test. Some institutions specify minimum percentage of marks for admission tom different management streams at Graduationlevel.

Test Structure:

The test consists of multiple choice objective type questions on Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency, Logical & Abstract Reasoning and Visual Reasoning.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates successful in the written test are called for the group discussion and personal interview. Successful candidates from states other than Uttar Pradesh are eligible for admission to all the institutions and universities inside Uttar Pradesh except for Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering, Allahabad.
