To study in Russia, those completed Under Graduation studies are eligible to join Specialist Diploma or Post Graduation studies. Just completing these studies doesnt make them to be Post Graduates. Only two years after the completion of PG studies they are honored with a PG degree. Subsequently, it is a mandatory for those enrolled in Post Graduation studies to undertake research or production activities that comprises of one year training, as well, take up the final exam.
Eligibility for admissions: Generally, admissions are carried out based on the prior education skills, entrance examination and a personal interview.
Top Universities in Russia follow strict admission procedures. Just like SAT examination for admission to Under Graduation studies in America, admission to studies at educational institutions in Russia is carried out based on an examination called 'Unified State Examination'.
If applying for studies such as M.A., M.Sc., Ph.D., and D.Sc., aspirants must have completed eligibility studies in the relevant field or a study closely related to it. Such regulations are strictly followed in Russia towards admission process.
Visa Process: To apply for a Work or Student visa, an applicant should submit a completed visa application form, national passport, one standard picture, Money Order or Certified Bank Check made out to the Russian Consulate for visa processing.
Funds: Educational expenses incurred in Russia are very less, when compared to several other countries. However, it also depends on cost of living of the city and the persons spending nature. Very few foreign students are provided with grants in the name of Russian Federal Fellowship.
