In the fast pace life of mankind in pursuit of something, day by day there is an increase in murders, thefts and deteriorating social condition.

Criminology is not just studying about the crime, but further more it is a science that deals preventing crimes.  Through practical training, students are empowered with in depth knowledge on ways to investigate into the crime, collect evidence, snooping and understanding the nuances of the branch, criminology.      

What is it all about? Social and economic background plays an important role for any crime to occur. Courses:  In India, several institutions offer Under Graduation, Post Graduation and Research studies in Criminology. It is offered as Diploma studies too.

At the Under Graduation level it is offered as of Bachelor of Art (B.A) as well as Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).

Next, at the Post Graduation level it is offered as Master of Arts (M.A) and Master of Science (M.Sc.). 

Eligibility: To pursue Under Graduation studies, it is must to have completed plus two.   Similarly, a pass in any Arts group (B.A) or Science (B.Sc.) is a must to pursue Post Graduation studies.  

Job opportunities:  In foreign countries, criminology study has got high level of appreciation.  However, in India, it is gradually picking up popularity. 

Banks, Finance, Prison, Investigation, Snooping and vigilance & Anti Corruption provide lot of job opportunities for those completing Criminology. Career scope can be made brighter by completing research in the field of Criminology.
