India swells with pride of being the eleventh nation to conduct full-fledged researches in the Arctic region

Earlier, countries like Britain, Italy, China, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Netherland, Sweden and Norway have set up their Research Laboratories in the artic region.

The Indian centre set up in international standard, will be located at a distance of 1200 kms away from the North Pole. In the previous years, India with five scientists augmented a small-scale research centre. This centre will be expanded now.

India has a  research center in the Antarctica Region too. It functions directly under the Central Geo Science department. The seeds found in India are preserved at Doomsday Walt Centre in North Pole. The Central Minister Mr.Kabil Sibil was a witness to it once when he visited the centre.

This must be a good news to those who study Geo resources at the Poles.
