School of Fashion Technology (SOFT) Entrance Exam-

Introduction:
The School of Fashion Technology or SOFT, as it is popularly known, was established in 1998 as a College of Design, Technology and Management for women. It was set up by Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samastha (MKSSS) in collaboration with National Institute of Fashion Technology ( NIFT). SOFT is situated in Pune, Maharashtra. It admits its students to the various postgraduate and undergraduate courses through the School of Fashion Technology Entrance Exam. The Soft Entrance Test will be held on 10th June.

Courses Available:

SOFT Entrance Test is held for admission to 3 postgraduate programmes � Apparel production and Merchandising Management (APMM), Fashion Design and Clothing Technology (FDCT), Computer Aided Textile Design (CATD) and one undergraduate programme in Fashion Apparel Design (FAD). These courses are distributed in three groups- Group A consist of the Apparel Production and Merchandising Management course, Group B consists of FDCT and CATD and group C consist of FAD.

Eligibility for the PG Programs:

For admission to the PG Program of the School of Fashion Technology through the SOFT Entrance Test candidates need to be a graduate or a diploma holder in any discipline under the 10+2+3 pattern.

Eligibility for the UG Program:

For admission to the undergraduate program candidates need to pass the Higher Secondary or its equivalent examination.

Test Centres:

The SOFT Entrance Test will be held at Pune, Kolkata and Lucknow.

Obtaining the Application form of SOFT Entrance Test: The application forms and prospectus of the School of Fashion Technology Entrance Test can be obtained by sending a demand draft of 1000/- drawn in favor of �School of Fashion Technology" payable at Pune. You can also procure it from the Institute on cash payment of Rs. 800/-. The option to download the application form from the Institutes''s website is also open. Those who download the application form should make the payment at the time of submitting the application form.
