Its highly imperative to have a selected plan to take up exams conducted by Tamil Nadu Public Service commission.
Immediately after the notification comes out, study by allocating the right amount of time depending on the syllabus of each paper.
It is important to spend at least 8 hours every day to prepare for the examination.
Knowing the right syllabus is the key to competently prepare for the exam. Further, success in the exam is determined by understanding previous years questions and taking sufficient number of mock tests.
Instead of just seeking inspiration for the exam from books, develop deeper understanding about the skills required for the post appearing for and mull over the subjects.
Syllabus based preparation? It is highly important to focus more on science that comprises of Physics, Chemistry and Biology, as major portion of questions come from here.
Give special importance to topics such as vitamins, Cause for Diseases, Immunity System, Minerals of Natural resources.

This area is considered to be easiest to score good marks.
Generally, all the topics that come under this are important. Give more importance to topics like fundamental rights, Government policies,
parliament, relationship of central and state governments and panchayat.
