"Vazhikatti" begins at Kovai and Madurai- 30-Mar-2012
Kovai/Madurai: Students popular career guidance programme "Vazhikatti", jointly organized by Dinamalar and SRM University got off to a great start in Kovai and Madurai today, which would go on until April 1.
In Kovai, "Vazhikatti" programme began at the Coddissia grounds this morning and in Madurai it got underway at the Lakshmi Sundaram Hall, Tallakulam. Every year, Dinamalar in association with SRM Varsity conducts Vazhikatti to facilitate students completing plus two, towards choosing the appropriate course and career.
Along with Dinamalar, the other co-parterners taking part in this noble venture are Pudhiya Thalaimurai, SVS Group of institutions, Nehru Group of educational institutions, KMCH Group of institutions, Sri Easver Engineerinng college, Sabols water and Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM.
In the three-day programme, eminent personalities provide elite lectures from 10:00 to 11:30 AM and 4:00 to 5:30 PM on wide-ranging topics related to career choices and optional studies.
Assisting students and parents on various colleges, courses, there are nearly 100 stalls in the programme at both Kovai and Madurai, with some specific colleges even providing 'spot admission' to aspiring students.
The delight of the programme is a free entry to everyone with an exclusive career guidance book providing scores of information on educational institutions, courses and lucrative careers.
