Maharashtra gets Rs 136.9 cr central assistance- 4-Apr-2012
New Delhi: The Centre released Rs 136.9 crore to Maharashtra towards central assistance for post-matric scholarships to student belonging to Scheduled Castes.
The Post-Matric Scholarship for SC Students Scheme is the single largest intervention by Government of India for educational development of scheduled caste students, an official release said.
