The quality of an institution can be determined by three things such as the standard of students intake, experience of the facilities and the infrastructure. Furthermore, educational institution can be judged by its curriculum, research opportunities, collaboration with industries, rank list in the national level and international level.
Institutions evaluation:
Every institution requires more of self evaluation. Especially, reviewing curriculum pattern; is it in accordance to the requirement of the industry; are industry experts been part of the curriculum design.
It is the responsibility of the educational institutions that whether industrial visits and internships are carried out properly. When students frequently go to industrial visits, they would get enough chance to utilize their learnt knowledge in more practical way.
Further, these visits also help students to know about the technology used in the industries. They also know about the skills required for the industry and to develop the relevant skill sets.
Awareness:
Today there are lot of opportunities to learn through YouTube, Face Book, Whatsapp and Linkedin. As well as, there are lots of opportunities to use it negatively. Institutions should provide awareness that right use of technology could take them to greater heights.
Presently, Indian students have started to worry about the Visa regulation made in US. Education should be seen as a tool to uplift our entire lifestyle but not see it to just get jobs alone. Education is not to get jobs alone, but it should instigate ones thinking; understand the essence of life; and able it lead a life independently. It is also the responsibility of educational institution to make this message clear to all the students.
