Women education is highly imperative for the development of any nation. The reason why we feel that foreign nations are highly developed is that they give very high importance to women and women education.

When compared to the development of these nations the reason why we as nation lag behind, is that, we dont give importance to women.  Our former late President, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam mentioned that when our men and women in 20s work hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder our nation would be developed by 2020.

In the recent years, women are given lot more importance in our country.  Large number of girls are taking up engineering courses such as Computer Science, ECE, Electronics and Civil justifies this very fact. But, mechanical engineering doesnt have much women takers.

Role of women is necessary for the good of the family and the betterment of the nation too. Towards this, education for women is highly essential. But, the sad thing is that they are denied of education even today in some places in India. More than the husband, the women has greater responsibility in the upbringing of the children. As a result they are not able to pursue higher education after their marriage. This situation should change; women should be given the chance to carry out their higher education. Education for women needs to be uplifted.

Over past few years, many have started to shun engineering studies and are moving towards arts and science studies. Though, in the beginning, both Engineering students and arts and science students may earn the same, later on with few years of experience engineering graduates would get better earnings. Students should seriously consider this fact. Those students who opt for engineering studies should take the study seriously and work hard.

Parents should take care of their children properly. They should provide only healthy food. They should sit along with their children and have their food. Only then, children would inculcate good discipline. Education without discipline is useless.

Keeping this in mind, we, in our institutions provide great deal of importance to discipline and women education.
