The coming year, XAT 2018 will be conducted on Sunday, January 7, 2018. 


XLRI conducts XAT on behalf of the XAMI. For more than 60 years XLRI is conducting XAT at all India level to select the most appropriate students for management education. Currently, XAT scores are being used by more than 150 institutes for the admission. 


XAT Registration Fee (without late fee) Rs. 1650/-   Candidates interested in XLRI programmes needs to pay an additional fee of Rs. 300/- each. XAT Registration Fee (with late fee) Rs. 2000/-   Candidates interested in XLRI programmes needs to pay an additional fee of Rs. 500/- each.


Eligibility: Eligibility to MBA studies is a pass in any degree course from any recognized university. Any on studying in the final year is eligible for MBA studies.  


Exam mode: This exam that is held through online mode comprises questions form sections such as Analytical, English for Reasoning, General Knowledge, and comprehension passage.   




Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance examination conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. 


The CMAT is a three hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session to evaluate the candidates ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness


Registration End Date : 18th December 2017 (10:00 AM)


Exam Date: 20th January, 2018


Applicant must be a citizen of India.


Graduates in any discipline can apply for CMAT exam


Final year students of Graduate Courses (10+2+3) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2018-19 can also apply for CMAT online exam


Held across the 75 cities and towns of India, the duration of test is 180 minutes (3 hours).


There shall be negative marking for wrong answers, for each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted.


Trial test will be available from 25-Oct-2017. onwards for the candidates to have a feel of the online test and navigation functionality. Candidates are advised to go through them carefully to familiarize themselves with the screens, layout, and navigation.
