Joint Entrance Examination, JEE, is the most vital examination required for those students willing to join IIT - Indian Institute of Technology, NIT National Institute technology and various technical institute that come under the government and those willing to join Engineering studies and technical studies in leading institutions in India. 


This exam that is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Examination, CBSE consist of two segments, JEE main and JEE advanced. Only those who get through JEE main are eligible to make it to the JEE advanced.  


JEE main is enough to get admission into NIT, IIIT, CFTI. However, to get into IIT, it is a must to clear JEE advanced. 


To join in BE and B.tech, the candidate should have subjects such as physics and maths in plus two and should have studied Chemistry, Biology and Technology as a primary subject. 


To join B.arch and B.planning, candidates must have studied maths as a subject in plus two.


In the above mentioned subjects students should have obtained 45% in each subject and should have totally 75% subject. However, its enough to get just 65% for SC/ST candidates.


JEE main: 


Day 1: (B.E and B.tech) Objective type questions would be asked in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Examination would be computer based or paper pencil. Whatever the students feel comfortable, they can select. 


Day 2 ( B.Arch and B.planning ) Paper pencil based objective types, questions would be asked in Mathematics and aptitude test


JEE advance: It is completely computer based exam. 


Aadhar is a must to apply for the examination.  


Last date to apply: Jan 1
