A man who was desperate to snub Abraham Lincoln, the former President of America, came up with a cynical question, your father seemed to be cobbler. If it was an ordinary man, he would have lost his cool and would have got really angry. Whereas, Lincoln didnt get angry at all.
Instead he said, If your footwear gets ripped off, bring it to me, I will repair it for you? My father has nurtured me with confidence that even though I dont get a Presidential job, I can survive repairing shoes. The man, who asked the question, shut his mouth and walked away quietly.
Commonly, first time successor will never talk like this. Only those had learned their lessons through many failures, would have the courage to answer like this. They are robust like iron that has been shaped after heating it for long time in the furnace. Only those who had given a teaching to failures will be able to talk like this. They are really tough people who were seasoned in fire.
He is one example to quote who had conquered success after many failures. There are many like this across the globe who had given a scare to failures. Success will certainly follow only those who are willing to take-up and face failures directly.
Taking an effort itself is the first success!
If lost once try another time. Even if that is also a failure, keep trying, keep on trying .life will keep on encouraging till success comes along with you. When a person asked Edison that he had failed 100 times, Edison audaciously comes out to say that, I have found that the material used 99 times is not useful..This also is a victory. His answer reveals that we to need learn a from failures too.
Its good that we become like a child when our efforts fail. However, how many times a child falls down, it immediately gets up. Those who wish to succeed need to develop this type of mentality. Do not give-in easily even to small ventures. Its important to put up a strong fight till the last. Only such great efforts would give a sense of satisfaction.
The thumb rule is that either take an effort or practice harder!
