ICT, Institute of Chemical Technology is a premier institution for students who are keen about making it big in the field of chemicals, textiles, pharmacy and plastics.  


This institution was established in the year 1933, under university of Mumbai and then in 2008 it attained Deemed university status.   


The ICT has brought laurels to India, despite being at a disadvantaged position with reference to other technological institutes of national importance, particularly the IITS, IISc, ISERS, NISERs and Central Universities.


The Institute has a glorious history of 78 years, having produced many great people.

It offers wide variety of courses in chemical science, Food science, Textiles science and Plastic science.


At present ICT offers three degrees at undergraduate level: B.Tech. (Bachelor of Technology), B.Chem.Eng. (Bachelor of Chemical Engineering), B.Pharm. (Bachelor of Pharmacy).] 


The institute offers several courses at the masters level which specializes in Chemical Technology, Chemical Engineering and Pharmacy. 


Ph.D. from ICT is highly sought after program and is arguably among the best ones in the country.

Admission:  Admission is carried out based on GATE score and Graduate Aptitude Pharmacy Test.


Eligibility:  An Under Graduation from recognized university with 60% in Engineering, Technology, Science. For SC/ST candidates it is enough with 55%\
