All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health is one of the leading educational institutions in the country that is involved in various research programmes related to Public Health & Hygiene and sciences.

With systematic pragmatic teaching of the basics, it carries out various practical researches with an objective of creating skilled personals towards the service of public health. It particularly carries out researches in Bio-chemistry & Nutrition, Epidemiology, Maternal & Child health, Microbiology, Occupational Health, Preventive & Social Medicine, Public Health Administration, Public Health Nursing and Statistics.
Courses offered: It offers MD community Medicine, Master of Engineering Public Health, Master of Public Health, Epidemiology, MSc in applied Nutrition, Masters in Veterinary Public Health, Diploma in Health promotion & Education, Diploma in Health Statistics, Diploma in Industrial Health, Diploma in Dietetics, Diploma in Maternity & Child Welfare, Diploma in Public Health and Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management.
Admission Procedure: Admission is carried out based on the marks obtained in the university exams and through an all India entrance examination.
Scholarships: Scholarship amount of Rs 15,000/- to Rs 39,000/ per month is given to students taking up courses such as MD Community Medicine and Diploma in Public Health. Monthly Rs 7,500/ is given students taking up courses such as Diploma in Dietetics, Diploma in Health Promotion & Education, Diploma in Health statistics and Master Veterinary Public Health.
