Academic	At least 60% marks should have been obtained at the qualifying exam History and Archaeology, Modern Greek Studies, Archaeology and Art First class Masters Degree in the relevant area Pharmacy First Class M.Pharm degree Veterinary Medicine First Class M.Tech /M.E (Naval Mech. Engg.) Business Administration First Class MBA degree
Other	The candidate should have adequate knowledge of Greek, English/ French and Geography, culture and heritage of Greece. stay 3 years consecutive in India after return

Duration	1-3 years
Value	Allowance 40,000 Drachmas pm for living expenses Initial expenses 50,000 Drachmas Drafting and typing cost of Ph.D Dissertation UP to 60,000 Drachmas Laboratory expenses (if necessary) Up to 60,000 Drachmas Tuition fees, Medical Care Free no support for conferences, seminars, symposia/research No support for any dependent of the scholar
Passage Cost	To be borne by the candidate/employer/sponsor
Selection Procedure	Typed application (in prescribed format) along with attested copies of testimonials, photograph, medical fitness, certificate, proposed programme of study/research and other documents should be submitted on plain papaer by prescribed date. Employed candidates should send their applications through employer. Advance application may be considered if the original is subsequently received through the employer by the time of interview
