- Bachelors degree with 55% marks (Conversion formula should be given where grades have been awarded)
1 year Diploma in Tourism
- Masters degree in the subject/related field with 60% marks
- MSc in the relevant subject with 60% marks

Experience |
- 1 year practical experience in the field of Tourism after graduation
- 2 yrs (consecutive) in teaching/research after obtaining the prescribed qualification. MPhil degree is counted towards one year''s experience
- Employed with 2 years (consecutive) in teaching/ research after obtaining PG degree

Others |
1. & 2. A good command of written and spoken English and sufficient knowledge about Austria. 3 years consecutive stay in India after return from abroad for study, training on national scholarship.
3. Proficiency in German The area of research should be in the candidates discipline in post-graduation
