Purpose	To enable scholars to undertake advanced research or specialised training in laboratories/research institutes abroad in priority areas of biotechnology

	Academic	PhD or MD degree in areas related to Biotechnology
	Others	The candidate should hold a regular position in a research institute be actively engaged in biotechnological research and development work be sponsored execute a service bond to repatriate to India and join her/ his parent institution after the completion of associateship
