The candidate should
- hold a regular position in a recognised Science and Technology Institution
- be actively engaged in research work.
- be a scientist or technologist with established reputation in the area for which s/he have received invitation/permission for training/research in the foreign institution
- be sponsored by the head of the Institution where s/he is employed
- be willing to execute a service bond to repatriate and serve in India for 3 years after return
