Scholarship :  Charles Wallace Scholarship - Part 3
Course :  N / A

Description :
Each year there are about 1520 grants awarded for short-term research purpose.
CWIT provides 1,400 to each researcher, towards the costs of their stay in the UK. The funding is usually enough for a period of about three weeks.
Applicants planning to stay in the UK for more than three weeks will need to supplement the CWIT grant with other funding.
CWIT also offers a few grants each year to Indian students in the final stages of their doctorates at UK universities who can give us an assurance that they intend to return to India. These grants are small (600) and intended to help fill a funding gap. To be successful in securing a CWIT grant you will need to show evidence of funding/income from other sources.
