Kings Engineering College is a Christian Minority Self-financing Engineering College located at Irungattukottai, Sriperumbudur, just 20 kms away from the periphery of Chennai city. The college is managed by the Rajam Group of Companies that also manages the Queensland Amusement Park and the pleasant days resort hotel. It is run by a philanthropic charitable and religious trust "RAJAMMAL DURAISAMY EDUCATIONAL & HEALTH TRUST". This institution is totally devoted to the cause of technical education. It works to uplift the techno-social status of youth particularly from the economically weaker section of the community in this region. The College was started in the year 2001 and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and Affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.
