Avoid taking up IT, ECE - Educationalist Advice-
Dr. Ananthakrishnan, Former Vice Chancellor of Anna University and The Director of Developmental Studies, Chennai and IIT, Kanpur, has advised the students not to choose IT, ECE courses, since the job opportunities in these fields will diminish in the next four years.
He told this during a web-chat organized by NIC {National information Centre} on the Tamilnadu Government Website, www.employment.tn.gov.in. He talked to nearly 100 students who have completed plus two.
The field of Electronics is growing up fast in India. Civil Engineering has also an enormous prospect in the future. Biomedical has abundant opportunities in other nations; whereas in India it has only a fewer opportunities. Hence my advice is not to go in for IT and EC, said he.
