I am an arts student. But, this country has very less opportunities for arts students while lot of opportunities for science stream students. This condition is only destined to our country or to the entire world? Please, provide me the elaborate details about the present and future opportunities (except teaching) for arts stream students particularly History and literatures in India. - 14-Feb-2012

First of all let me assure you even Arts and Commerce stream has got tremendous opportunity equal to science stream. Every course has got very good opportunity but question is where you do it. Institutions plays an greater role for career success.

History students can civil service examination, group examinations by short service examination, travel and tourism, social work, archeology , anthropology etc . You need to understand yourself in which all areas you have interest and decide to it best institutions in that particular area.
