NERIST Entrance Exam for PG Admissions-
Introduction
The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST) is a deemed University located in Arunachal Pradesh, India. The NERIST Entrance Exam for PG admissions is conducted for admission to the M.Tech, M.SC in Forestry, and MBA degree courses.
Eligibility:
For the M.Tech Courses candidates need to have a B.Tech or equivalent degree in the relevant branch. For admission to the M.Sc. and M.Tech. Programme candidates should have at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (3.25 out of 5.00 point scale) with valid GATE Score of 70 percentile for General category (60 percentile for SC/ ST/ PH category).
For admission to the MBA Programme candidates need to pass their graduation with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH categories).
Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected for the M.Sc. and M.Tech programme on the basis of the written test/Interview. For the MBA programme the written test will be followed by personal interview and group discussion.
Obtaining the Application Form: Application form and Information brochure NERIST Entrance Exam for PG admission can be obtained by sending a request along with a demand draft of Rs. 550/- in favor of Director, NERIST" payable at State Bank of India, NIRJULI (Code no. 9353).
It can also be obtained in person from the Academic Section of the Institute on cash payment of Rs. 500/-. One can also download the application form from the Institute''''s website- www.nerist.ac.in. Those who download the application form should make the payment at the time of submitting the form.
Submission of the Application Form: The duly filled application form should reach the Deputy Registrar Academic, North Eastern institute of Science and Technology, Nirjuli, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh .
Seats: There are 18 seats in each programme of M.Sc. and M.Tech. The MBA programme has 30 seats.

Date of Issuing of Forms: April to May.

Date of Written Test /Interview: June.
Date of Declaration of Result: June
