The 18 candidates are holding degrees equivalent to the conventional UG degree in English Literature, B.Sc; M.Sc Statistics and they have been certified by respective universities including the Government appointed Equivalence Committee and they cannot be disqualified, the Judge observed.

The candidates who have studied courses such as B.A English (Computer Application) which was certified equal to the English literature and Bsc., and Msc Statistics which is equal to mathematics as certified by the universities had applied for the teacher Posts in government schools.
