Mumbai: CIMA India (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) has recently announced the launch of its internationally renowned annual business competition - Global Business Challenge 2014 (GBC), inviting registrations from undergraduate college and university students across the country.
In 2013, more than 540 teams from 128 institutions and universities across India participated in GBC. This year GBC is organized across 24 countries, in partnership with Barclays.
The CIMA Global Business Challenge is an international business competition designed to bring out the best in the young future business leaders and emphasizes on CIMA’s vision of developing and nurturing young talent around the world.
GBC helps undergraduate students to foster better interpersonal and communications skills, by working together as a four-member team to present a business case study.
Each team consists of four members, and they must be full-time/part-time undergraduate students from a university/institution. There is no upper limit on the number of teams which can participate from an institution/university.
