Scholarship for Indian students to study in Korea!- 2-Mar-2022
Indian students and professors can now apply for Global Korean Scholarship (GKS) offered by the Ministry of Education, Korea.
Students selected for this scholarship will be able to pursue higher studies or research in educational institutions that are attached with National Institute for International Education (NIIED).
Total no of Scholarship: 23
Totally this scholarship is provided to 22 candidates for UG & Doctoral studies and 1 for research studies.
No of students recommended by IG: Indian government (IG) recommends 46 candidates for UG studies and 44 candidates for doctoral studies and 2 are recommended for research studies. Among these, the Korean Govt select 23 candidates.
Scholarship offered for: UG, Research and Doctoral programmes.
Age limit: Should be less than 40 YO by 1 Sept and 45 years of age for professors.
Education Qualification: For those applying for PG programmes should have completed UG studies or an equivalent in a Govt recognised institution and those apply for research studies should have completed PG studies or an equivalent at studies in Govt recognised institution. Should acquire the required qualification before 31 Aug, 2022.
Scholarship details: The scholarship covers flight charges, monthly expenses, research expenses, staying expenses and health insurance.
