Common Management Admission Test generally known as CMAT is a national level eligibility test towards the admission to Post Graduate Management programs.
Through the scores obtained in this exam students are able to get admission in AICTE recognized educational institutions. This test conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) is purely a computer based online exam.
Eligibility: Those having cleared any Under Graduate Program can apply for this test. Final year students can also apply. There is no age limit for this examination.
Question paper pattern: The test comprises of totally 100 question with 20 questions each to test 5 aspects such as Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
With every right answer carrying 4 marks the exam is held for a total of 400 marks. Every wrong answer would invite 1 negative mark. All the questions would be in English
Test Centers: Across the country test centers are set up in important cities. In Tamil Nadu, test centers are in Chennai, Kovai, Madurai, Trichy, Tirunelveli and Puducherry.
Duration of the test: 3 hours
