Most leading countries across the globe provide fully funded overseas scholarships to Indian students.  Mainly countries like UK, USA, Canada, Australia, China, Japan, and most European countries offer special scholarships to Indian students

Scholarships provided by foreign countries are generally merit-based or merit cum need-based. Read below for the main eligibility criteria required to obtain an International scholarship!

Basic Qualifications:

The main qualification that is generally expected from students seeking scholarships to study is to be sound in academics. Good scores in entrance examinations such as GRE, SAT, and GMAT are important in obtaining a scholarship.

Next, for some scholarships, language skills including German, Japanese, and Korean also play a vital role. However, since English is mostly the medium of instruction, a decent score is a must in any international language test, including IELTS and TOEFL.

Planning and training:

Applying for a scholarship certainly cannot be a last-minute decision. If it is a long-term plan, you need to start working towards it a few years in advance. If you are currently a student, the first thing to do is to improve your academic performance!

It is necessary to train appropriately to improve your GPA, study some added courses and prepare for the entrance exam and English language proficiency test. Developing leadership, creativity, social sensitivity, and problem-solving skills is also important.

Meanwhile, it is very important to keep a close watch on the deadline to apply for the scholarship and ensure that the application form and the needed documents are submitted before the last date.
