Mumbai: Three Indian students have topped the global examinations results in three categories – Professional Gateway, Management Accountant Gateway and Performance Strategy, according to an announcement made by CIMA.
CIMA- Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, the world’s largest professional body of management accountants, has announced that 3 Indian students have topped the global examinations results in three categories – Professional Gateway, Management Accountant Gateway and Performance Strategy.
While globally 484 students took the Professional Gateway examinations, 544 took the Management Accountant Gateway, and 5,622 took the Performance Strategy examination in November 2014.
The second accelerated route - the Management Accountant Gateway for ICMAI (formerly known as Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India) is for qualified students and professionals.
The third route is the Professional Gateway route – that is open for CA’s (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India).
Once students complete the relevant Gateway examination, they are awarded the CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting and will be granted exemptions from all certificate, operational and management level exams.
