The Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced a scholarship program for foreign students with financial assistance from Iraqi universities.

Students selected for this program will have the opportunity to pursue higher education or research in educational institutions in Iraq. Indian students can also apply in this scholarship program.

Total Number of Scholarships: 6837 Seats

Levels of Study: Advanced Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Ph.D.

Scholarship Scheme:

The scheme is announced in two categories Full Scholarship and Self Funding. One thousand 53 seats are provided under self-financing category and 5 thousand 784 seats are provided under full scholarship category. Students selected in the full scholarship category are not required to pay tuition fee and accommodation fee.

University of Baghdad, University of Basra, University of Mosul, University of Technology, Sulaimani University, Babylon University, Tigrit University, Kooba University, Anbar University, Diyala University, Mustansiriya University, Wasid University, Samara University, Salahuddin University, Kirkuk University, Al-Qadisiya University, Al-Qar University, Al-Mutanna University, Nineveh University, Al-Nahrain University, a total of 47 Iraqi universities.
