The National Education Policy has been formulated taking into consideration of hundreds of major aspects necessary for the development of the education standard of our country in an earnest effort to reach the highest standard.

In today's environment where a student of any domain can build a better future only if he acquires knowledge of other domains too, the new National Education Policy provides students with a wonderful opportunity to develop multidisciplinary knowledge.

For example, students studying Psychology require knowledge of consumer behavioral patterns; on the other hand management students need to possess the knowledge of consumer rules laid down by the government. Beyond providing an opportunity to expand multidisciplinary knowledge, the NEP has also made education simpler.

Increased interest in education:

In each departmental program, students are also given the opportunity to incorporate the needed courses. Due to such features, the number of students getting admission to higher education increases significantly along with dropout reducing to a great extent. Further, it has also induced greater interest among students in higher education. It has come to a point where every segment of society can acquire Higher education. A great deal of attention is paid to the overall skill development of the students.

It encourages the use of Sustainable Development Goals in our daily lives. With easy learning norms, educational exchange programmes with foreign educational institutions enable a global educational environment. The educational institutions get the opportunity to work in partnership with industries. It not only promotes the development of students' skills but encourages continuous improvement of teachers' skills too.

More than providing employment, the National Education Policy lays down various important aspects of developing skills that create employable entrepreneurs. At this juncture, students should not only aim to get jobs, but also aim for self-improvement and the development of the country.

Change is possible:

There is lot of hope that the change that has been awaited all these years is now possible. If the National Education Policy is properly implemented by all educational institutions, India will attain an unshakable place on the world stage.
