3 day international conference for UG medical students- 16-Apr-2017
Puducherry: A three day international conference for undergraduate medical students to strengthen their academic and research knowledge will be held here from April 21 by centrally sponsored JIPMER.
The meet,being held under the banner 'CONNAISSANCE' (meaning acquaintance or knowledge), will have discussions and special lectures by renowned speakers and academics to focus their experience to benefit the UG students, a release said.
Around 1,500 medical students from different parts of the country have already registered for the conference.
Presentations on classical papers, clinical cases and posters, besides debates, quiz programmes, symposia and panel discussion on innovation and patenting would also be held, the release from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) said.
There would also be pre-conference workshops on various subjects to orient the students on important multi disciplinary specialties.
