Chennai: Young leaders who are driving social change are invited to apply/be nominated to a global leaders programme in the UK.
The Queen’s Young Leaders Programme, aims to discover, celebrate and develop exceptional NextGen leaders.
Winners of this prestigious Award receive a unique package of training, mentoring and networking to develop their leadership skills, including a 1-week residential programme in the UK during which they receive their Award from Her Majesty The Queen.
2018 will be the final year and #TheSearchIsOn to find the last cohort of winners and highly commended runners-up.

Who can apply/be nominated? Applicants/nominees must
· (throughout 2018) be aged between 18 and 29 years; date of birth must fall between 1st January 1989 and 1st January 2000.
· have proven experience of working to improve their communities locally, regionally or at a national level and show evidence of achievements, leadership and evidence of having overcome obstacles.
· be supported by a suitable referee (a professional in one of the following occupations; teacher or counsellor; registered physician or nurse; church or community leader; social worker or family services; or business leader). Referees must not be relatives.
