Forensic Science deals with investigation of crime with the help of science. The Forensic professionals collect evidences from the place of crime, study at length in the lab, convert their findings into evidence in order to produce them as witness in the court. In Forensic Science the students are taught to collect blood samples, hair, saliva, and imprints of finger, foot, shoe and tyre as evidences. Besides they also learn about signature forgery. They also help the police to unravel the case with the information they have collected
Forensic Science answers various legal questions raised in the court. The students of Forensic Science must make use of their precise knowledge of science during interrogation. The function of Forensic Science can be divided into three types, namely, medical, lab and field science.
They can serve in the Departments of Police, Law and Enforcement, private and government detective agencies, and also in various legal organizations. It is possible to study a specialized course in Forensic Anthropology, Forensic Archeology and Forensic Serology so that they can procure employment in their specialized field.
