Puducherry Joint Entrance Test-
Introduction
Puducherry Joint Entrance Test is conducted by the Centralized Admission Committee for admission to the first year B.Tech, B.D.S., B.V.Sc & Ah, B.Pharm, B.Sc (Nursing), B.P.T, B.SC (MLT) degree courses of the govt sponsored Colleges. But admission to theses courses is not solely dependent on the performance of the candidates in the Puducherry JET. Their performance in the Higher Secondary Examination will also be counted.
The Puducherry JET will consist of 3 papers. For admission to the B.Tech degree courses candidates need to appear in Paper I and Paper II. Those who are seeking admission to B.D.S., B.V.Sc.& AH, B.Sc. (Agri), B.Sc. ( Nursing), B.P.T, Bsc. ( M.L.T) and MBBS degree courses need to appear in paper II and paper III. Paper II is compulsory for the candidates seeking admission to the B. pharm courses. In addition to that they need to take either Paper I or Paper III.
If you are seeking admission to all the degree courses mentioned above, you need to appear in all the three papers.
Test pattern:
There will be three papers in Puducherry Joint Entrance Test 2007- Paper-I Mathematics, Paper II Physical Sciences and paper III Biology. All the papers will be of two hours duration and questions will be of objective type only.
Test Centres:
The JET Puducherry will be held at Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam.
Obtaining the application forms of Puducherry Joint Entrance Test, 2007: The Puducherry JET aplication set can be obtained by sending a request along with a demand draft of Rs.565/-( Rs. 190 /- for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favor of the Convenor, CENTAC, payable at Puducherry and two self addressed slips to the Convenor, Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Pondicherry Engineering College Campus, Puducherry, 605014 on or before 11th May , 2007.
It can also be obtained in person from selected post offices on payment of Rs. 520/- ( Rs.145/- for SC/ST candidates).

Submitting the Application Form:
The application forms of Puducherry JET along with the necessary enclosures should reach the Convenor, Joint Entrance Test, 2007 Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Pondicherry Engineering College Campus, Puducherry, 605014 on or before 11th May , 2007.
