Russia is renowned for pursuing studies in science and research activities. One fourth of the science journals that comes out across globe are in Russian language. To add on, Russian language in one among the six official languages of United Nations.
Russian Education is based on the central European education model. It consists of four segments such as Primary Education, High School Education, Higher Education and Post Graduation studies.
Three types of educational institutions functions such as Universities, Educational institutions and Vocational training Institutions, as for as Higher Education in Russia is concerned.
Universities provide extensive education at various levels of learning. Educational institutions, apart from providing higher Education it also carries out research studies in Science, Arts and in Architecture. Vocational Training Institutions, being an independent body of the university provides vocation education.
In Russia, there are 48 Universities and 519 Educational Institutions. Through these educational institutions, Russia produces more number of graduates than any other European Nation. When Soviet Union was under the rule of Communist Government, the Government, apart from providing funding for universities it also provided monetary support to students to live.
In Russia, studies related to Science and Technology is given very high priority. Higher education certification from Russia has a great significance across the globe. At present, many private educational institutions are coming that offers courses in Law, Economics and Commerce apart from traditional Russian Educational Institutions.
