Is it possible to create history, if you happen to have the right inspiration and keep trying along with undying motivation? Yes say some women achievers!

Born as a beautiful little child to Adams couple of America in the year 1880 is Helen Keller. Very early, when she was 1 years old she lost her eye sight, speech and the ability to hear.  Yet she fought back.

With the help of Braille method she started to read and write; obtained several degrees; travelled across to nearly 25 countries; emphasizing the essence of love, spoke vehemently against wars; set up a library for the visually challenged; apart from being a good writer she was also a social worker! As a result she became famous across the globe.

If Helen Keller is a solid example for determination, Vilma Rudolf, a black American is a good model for unbendable willpower. Though affect by polio at the age of 4, through long arduous therapy and with strong willpower, at 13, she began to walk like any other normal child.

Just with that Vilmas desire did not stop. She goes along with her mother to take part in an athletic competition held close to her home town. Unable to run, she stumbles and falls to the roaring laughter of audience. Immediately, cajoling Vilma, her mother laments in her heart with a big sigh, Why all this shame.  All that happened in the athletic track on that day revved up Vilmas willpower several fold.

Yes. After that incident, through persistent efforts,  highly resolute Vilma, goes on to take part in 1960 Melbourne Olympics, bagging gold in 100, 200 meters dash and 4X100 meter relay, making the entire world turn towards her.

Following the footsteps of Helen Keller and Vilma Rudolf, becoming the first visually disabled IPS officer in India is Beano Jebin of Tamil Nadu.

Just reflect over the above mentioned true stories. If they had bowed out, cursing fate, they would not have been able to achieve; never would have been able to be part of history.

So let us understand, extra ordinary fetes are not achieved due to muscular strength, but due dogged determination.
