Every individual takes time to overcome their problems and settle down. This is also true in the case of foreign students coming to India for higher studies.
In spite of making effective adjustments with the environment and the institution the foreign students have problems regarding food, accommodation and the language in India. The Government and the educational institutions are taking corrective steps to avoid such types of issues faced by the students.
The Indian government had announced that the foreign students coming to India for higher studies must bring with them documents like Admission Notice, Passport and residence permit and obtain permission from the foreign embassy within 7 days of their arrival to enable them to stay in India.
Several institutions offer attractive courses in Engineering, Medicine and Applied Arts to take in more number of foreign students because they can only choose from the above mentioned courses. The Indian Government gives special concessions or quota to foreign students coming from other developing nations. This information can be obtained from the Indian embassy in their countries.
