Reaching the peak!- 3-Nov-2016
Recently, I happened to see an advertisement outside a clothing shop that said, We dont want educated youngsters, we want youngsters who know job. It came as jolt to me that education alone would not get job opportunities, but beyond that practical creativity would.
Many seek jobs after studying too much. But the sad thing is that they dont realize that they do not possess skills required for job!
Skills needed for job is known as Working Skills. Though our education set up provides just bookish knowledge, it is certainly possible to excel if one acquires various skill sets during leisure and vacation time through college days itself.
For example, there are lots things to learn around us like obtaining a driving license, knowing to repair electrical and electronic gadgets, learning all sorts of plumbing works and find out ways to repair Television and mobile phones.
Our ancestors use to say that, learn some handiwork; no need to worry. If one happens to invest in acquiring new skills without wasting leisure time, certainly success would be there all through the life.
As the ant seeks after the strewn sugar, likewise, if one acquires skills according to the job market, certainly jobs would come seeking them.
To be in such command of position, should learn to do anything with great focus during younger age itself. As the needle that has a sharp tip will be useful to stitch. In the same way, only those efforts with sharp focus will succeed. For those utilizing the job opportunities that come your way, by equipping with necessary skill sets where ever you go there will jobs waiting for you.
Hence, if you get down to work, invest time in hard work without wasting time by telling needless excuses, certainly it is possible to grow to the height of a city lauding you reach the peak!
