Reading highly necessary for intellectual growth!- 3-Feb-2017

Though there are many ways to improve knowledge, reading is the best way! An ideal book will certainly rejuvenate a persons mind. To touch, it is mere paper; but if you continuously read it becomes tool for success.

If you happen to say, I dont have time to read, its just like wood cutter saying, I have no time to sharpen the axe.  You will certainly see great change in your life, if you happen to read one book a week: 50 books in a year.

An English proverb says, todays readers are tomorrows leaders.

For example, APJ Abdul Kalam once said, Thirukural has made me, who was a son of poor boatman, to be the President of India. Likewise many leaders such as Bernard Russell and Martin Luther King across the globe have become great due to this habit of reading.

Even a one-liner can bring about great change in a man.

Days without any reading should be considered as days without any growth. Reading not only empowers the person who is reading it, it also facilitates the society to grow.

The world famous Charlie Chaplin used to spend major portion of his money earned through acting to buy books.

Reading books can transform one to be a writer of a book too.

If a man doesnt learn through reading, certainly, he is not on the path of growth. Books that provide knowledge are the ladders towards growth.

Beyond friends who are beside you during adverse circumstances, it would be right to say that books are known not to lead to adverse circumstances.
