Candidates should submit separate application for each category as given below.
(1) GATE Category (GATE-A 2010 score or GATE-B 2010 score with TANCET 2010 score)
(2) NON-GATE category (TANCET 2010 score only)
(3) Sponsored category (with TANCET 2010 score) only for University Departments ofAnna University Chennai.
Eligibility
Candidates who have passed in all the subjects in the qualifying degree with TANCET2010 score or valid GATE A 2010 score or valid GATE B 2010 score with TANCET2010 score.
The details of eligibility criteria for admission to M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Arch./ M.Plan.
degree programmes are available in the Information Booklet and also in the Anna
University Chennai website. Candidates who have appeared for final year / semesterexaminations in April / May 2010 may also apply.
Reservation for Differently Abled candidates are available as per the Government norms under GATE / NON-GATE categories.

In person: Application form can be obtained IN PERSON by Cash / Demand Draft for
Rs. 500/- for General (Rs. 250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu on production of a copy of Permanent Community Certificate card) towards registrationfee at the following Institutions:

By post: Application form can also be obtained by post by sending a Demand Draft forRs. 600/- for general (Rs. 350/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Naduby enclosing a copy of Permanent Community Certificate card), (includes postal charges)along with a requisition letter and an address slip written in capital letters from theSecretary, TANCA, Anna university Chennai, Chennai - 600 025.
Registration through Internet: The application form, information and
instructions to candidates are available in the website www.annauniv.edu/tanca2010.The print out application and registration fee for Rs. 500/- for General (Rs.250/- forSC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu by enclosing a copy of PermanentCommunity Card) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Secretary,Tamil Nadu Common Admissions, Anna University Chennai payable at Chennaidrawn on or after 29.06.2010, should be sent along with all the enclosures, throughregistered post / speed post to The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Common Admissions,Anna University Chennai, Chennai 600 025, to reach on or before 19.7.2010(5.30 p.m.)
Counselling date will be intimated to the individuals through a call letter / Anna
University Chennai website.

The completed application should reach 'The Secretary, TANCA 2010, ExaminationCentre, Anna University Chennai, Chennai 600 025' on or before 19.07.2010, by5.30 p.m. Applications received after the due date and time will not be considered atany cost.
