| Eligibility Condition:
ONE Scholarship to the value of Rs.1,500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred only) per annum payable to a candidate who is undergoing First Year M.Sc. Mathematics Degree Course in the RAMANUJAN INSTITUTE FOR ADVANCED STUDY IN MATHEMATICS, University of Madras based on the Economic-cum merit basis.
The same candidate will get the Scholarship for the second year provided the candidate passes the first year examinations in first attempt. The Departmental Committee shall recommend the eligible students on Economic-cum merit basis for the award of Scholarship. A Committee constituted by the Vice Chancellor shall have power to decide the eligibility of the students and to select from among them with the approval of the Vice Chancellor.
