KMCH College of Physiotherapy, one of the pioneers in field of Physiotherapy education was started in the year 1994 by the Kovai Medical Center Research & Educational Trust. Kovai Medical Center Research and Educational Trust, Coimbatore, is a non-profitable voluntary organization established in the year 1990 by the promoters of Kovai Medical Center and Hospital with Dr. Nalla G.Palaniswami, M.D., A.B., (USA) as the Chairman and Dr.Thavamani D.Palaniswami, M.D., A.B., (USA) F.A.A.P., as the Managing Trustee. The goal of the trust is to render quality and character building education, training and research facilities to the youth of India and abroad. Over the years the trust has developed into a strong force to face the growing demands in the field of education. Under its umbrella, the institutions functioning are KMCH College of Nursing, KMCH College of Physiotherapy, KMCH College of Pharmacy, KMCH College of Occupational Therapy, Dr.N.G.P Arts and Science College, Dr.N.G.P College of Education, Dr.N.G.P Teacher Training Institute and Dr.N.G.P Institute of technology.
